Foggy

A while ago, it was a foggy day and I found this big pile of firewood outside my dad's house, and tried to take some pictures... what do you think?

I saw a photo on instagram where they asked what we were thinking about our future, and suddenly I had written a big long rant. I thought I'd share some of my life with you so I'm just leaving it here. Do not worry, I am perfectly okay so don't panic. I was just having a moment, you know?

I just love being with my acting people and acting. I have a big dream about becoming an actress but I think it's getting out of hand; I can't just expect to turn famous for sure with no doubt. But no matter what, I wish to act, even if it's in a small theater with not much payment or even if I have to work the hardest and I just wish I could be more confident inside me. I think I might seem quite confident about becoming an actress to my family etc., but I am really nervous about life. In a moment I am leaving Danish "public school" in 9th grade and going to a creative boarding school. I have never been so excited for anything before and I have never been so nervous; I am leaving my comfort zone living with my mom and dad and I am leaving all my friends behind and I have no idea what kinds of people I am gonna live with at the boarding school and worst of all what person I am gonna turn into. I am sure they are gonna be wonderful people and I will probably be able to love myself even more. I am usually really good at loving myself but I am just having some days where it has all been downhill, and I hate myself and I don't want to be this person anymore and I am lonely.

My sister had been on a school trip to Barcelona and brought home this cup from Starbucks as a gift for me! It's got a nice soft surface and is big and lovely. Love her to bits. I don't know if I'm gonna have any milk foam in it though, as I don't have any kinda machine for that...
She said one of her friends(that is following me on tumblr) thought it fit my style on tumblr well... do you think so too?(my tumblr)

Live collage

I noticed some stuff on my table that I thought looked interesting, and got inspired to do a "live collage", so I added some stuff and arranged it. Here's the result:

I started using the editing programme GIMP which is free. My sister taught me how to do multi exposure with it so I tried doing this edit. I'm not completely satisfied with the result but the pictures were bad quality from the start, so I had to over edit them to get the colours and light I wanted anyway... But I like the effect the flowers on the dress made with the multi exposure . What do you think if anyone is there?

Food Photos

I have found out that I quite like taking photos of food... probably because I enjoy food so passionately sometimes, lol. The pancake photo was taken just after I had learnt on a blog how to set the aperture to make better light and focus in a photo. So yay to that. I also recently read a post on the same blog about food photos with advice etc. so I suppose I got inspired by that too.

I know it's ironic that I ate a pancake on a fish plate... I didn't think about that.

Yesterday I had a productive costumizing- and repairing day and it was a really nice weather outside so the light was splendid, and I was in a nice mood. My mom noticed that the colours in my shirt and the sweater that I was repairing matched the colours in the painting behind me(which btw is done by my amazingly talented sister!) and snapped a photo.

What do you think of these kind of photos? I like how there's a lot more atmosphere in them than setup portraits, that's how I feel.

Happy Day of the Bowtie!

According to the other whovians on the internet, it is today the Day of the Bowtie in honour of Matt Smith's portrayal of the Doctor, which is my favourite doctor. So I wore a bowtie. Unfortunately I don't have a shirt that fits tightly with bowties so I just wore it like this.
If yer wondering, my bowtie is from a men's clothing shop called Bertoni and my shirt is from H&M.

Saturday morning read

I'd had this idea for a while and I actually had to change it a bit, because the light was different than it was in my idea. I had just found out how to turn my camera vertically on my tripod(I know I should have noticed before) so I made the light work better with my idea. There were quite a lot and I couldn't pick the best... Which ones are your favourites?

And btw. the book I'm reading is Pretties by Scott Westerfeld! It's the sequel to the book Uglies and it's an amazing book so read that ☼

Talk it up like yeah

I have been thinking about the lyrics of this song, mainly the line "let's go down to the tennis court, and talk it up like, yeah" or actually I only just thought deeper about that line. Because the reason we all love Lorde is probably that she is so relatable. She has all the normal person in her that we have too, and she's not afraid to show it. Her songs doesn't make it sound like we have a boring life if we don't run around with hot guys and gold jewelry and flipping Gucci, as many other singers make me feel. She does have a lot of other things going on in her songs though, but you all probably have too(referring to that I don't really lol jk a bit maybe my life is pretty epic too idk). But it's not all heartbreakingly beautiful love and luxury(not that she's the only one who doesn't but again I feel related to some of the feelings in her songs). Some of it is kinda down to earth; ... aye though where am I going with this. Oh, yeah, I was gonna end up with my interpretation of that line: Because going down to the tennis court and having a bit of epic conversation can be pretty epic too.

I think it sounded cooler in my head.
This was partly inspired by things I heard about Lorde and this(I only read the intro though).

Outfit of the day☼

This is what I wore today! The t-shirt is a diy I did once, here's the link for post on how!(in Danish though but anyway) It was a slightly warm day so I decided to wear a cropped top. But to be sure I got my mom's warm fuzzy faux fur coat. I think the jeans are outfitters nation but I diy'ed them too(the rips).

Overwhelmingly lovely sea

I hadn't seen the sea since last summer I think, and had been missing the sea so much, my eyes got salty damp as I was finally there again~
The Danish coast will always feel like home to me.
